Nice newly designed restaurant, well structured even in times of COVID 19. Due to the redesigned interior, the prices are slightly above normal, which is okay with the quality. The portions are big enough.

Super Asian! We ate very tasty and tastefully. Flavors of Thai cuisine absolutely harmonious and balanced. In short: food, friendliness, attention and flexibility for special requests are absolutely top. There can only be full marks. Definitely the best Asian restaurant in the Bad-Ems, Nassau, Nastätten area.

Very good food, fast delivery, fair value for money. A savior especially for vegetarians in Bad Ems - several dishes to choose from (instead of meat minus meat for the same price), the vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. Portions are also plentiful and taste great! I just hope the driver doesn't forget to pull his mask up from his chin next time.

Food very average, not particularly good but not bad either. However, the rice bowl is ugly and cheap and probably unsuitable for food. Should be exchanged for a nice glass bowl or something similar. Price was appropriate.

Best Thai Restaurant ever! Love it! The good is incredibly tasty.

We were eating here in early February. First of all a very nicely decorated dining room, you already feel comfortable when you come in. We were also escorted to a table by the window without a reservation. A young man served us and gave tips on the choice of dishes, courteous and nice. We initially had a starter soup & the main course was duck and beef. For the main course you get together a kettle full of rice. Overall, very fresh and delicious! I also found it positive that the sharpness levels are shown on the menu and that you could order a large bottle of water together. The price / performance ratio is also pleasant. The food and the service can only be recommended! 👍Negative only that in the end you did not receive an invoice & (on this day) it was not possible to pay with a card! If this is changed, there will be all stars!

Very bad cuisine, not worth the price

Nice ambience, nice staff, very very nice food! I was there on Sunday afternoon for lunch, ordered the duck, was absolutely very good food. I will go there more often for sure! (Living close even) Add 27.10: Went again, seems I am a regular now.... Just great!

Update 22.09.2019 I come with my girlfriend from the golf course, we feel like something hearty, but only on a trifle and it should go fast .... the old ladies are tired. We decide to drive to Bad Ems and eat 5 different appetizers at Phaiwan's. They taste great, are quickly on our table and we are full and fast back home. Many thanks. Update 22.06.2019 Our third visit and we are satisfied as always. The service was flexible, as I wanted to have some fresh fruit as a dessert. The portion of my fried rice with prawns was huge ... as well as I had my 2m man eating the leftovers. _____________________________________________________________ Our last Thaiessen was years back when there was another Thai restaurant near the cinema in Montabaur. Since then, we have not started an attempt, because even the additives on the menus frightened us off. Glutamate leads to bad migraine attacks and we also do without other additives, because they do not belong to a good kitchen in which everything is freshly cooked. Then I fall into the menu of the newly opened Phaiwan in Bad Ems in the hands and the same evening we start a trial. As an appetizer, I eat the P4 ... green papaya salad, sweet-sour and spicy. Very good, light and refreshing at outside temperatures over 30 degrees just right, however I have to give it a mild twist and that was perfect. My husband eats the Curryecken, even at those we have nothing to complain about. As a main course, there are pineapple in coconut milk with red curry and my husband chooses a chicken dish. Many fresh herbs are used, the vegetables are still nice and firm. Far too much for this hot day, but so tasty that we do not leave any leftovers. What do we like: 1. Very nice staff 2. We like the opening times very well, because we like to eat early and can do so from 5 pm. And ... awesome, also on Mondays is open here, when our two favorite restaurants since Vicari in Kölbingen and the artichoke in Montabaur have a rest day. 3. Cozy furnishings, many green plants and in the lower part of the large glass surfaces frosted glass, so you do not look from the outside right on the plate. 4. Subtle music 5. Wide range of dishes .... we have to come back often. 6. Many outdoor spaces, but by the road. Since we do not want to smoke (neither cars nor cigarettes), we preferred to sit in the restaurant. 7. Ample parking nearby in front of the train station. What is there to improve: 1. My red wine was cold ..... for my husband an absurdity, I personally found that in the high temperatures as quite pleasant. 2. The service has to practice a bit and focus on passing all tables. But the restaurant has just opened and these are certainly only small teething problems. CONCLUSION We will be back, even if we have 20 km journey and look forward to our next visit.

Worked in Bad Ems and discovered this wonderful restaurant during a walk. Everything is just right here: ambience, food, service, friendliness ... and a relaxing atmosphere after a busy day. THANK YOU for the delicious food!

Taste and price / performance bombastic. Two people would have been full from the main course. The prawn and coconut soup and the lunch buffet are also highly recommended. A real asset to Bad Ems, with its otherwise 0815 restaurants, where the same dishes are always served.
